UAE ministry issues warning against use of this talcum powder

The sample contained a high percentage of bacteria.
A recent circular from the Ministry of Health and Prevention has warned against the use of two batches of a locally made talcum powder due to the high amount of bacteria it contains.

Alerting all health facilities, the ministry issued the circular after being alerted by the Saudi Food and Drug Administration about two batches of talcum powder ‘Ajmal Sacrifice For Her’ Powder produced by Ajmal Perfume Manufacturing in UAE because it contains a high percentage of bacteria.

Over 18,000 UAE residents walk to beat diabetes in Dubai

Dubai: Huge crowds joined the 10th annual ‘Beat Diabetes Walk’ at Dubai’s Zabeel Park on Friday to raise awareness and funds for diabetes.

The event, organised by retail giant Landmark Group, raised hundreds of thousands of dirhams by way of participation fees (Dh20 per adult and Dh10 per child).
